In January-June LLC “Multipurpose Reloading Complex” (MRC) in port of Ust-Luga (Leningrad region) handled 1.98 million tons of cargo, down by 3% YoY.
The result was caused by the decrease of coal exports by the company’s key clients amid the foreign market situation. In the reported period, coal transshipment fell by 6% to 1.83 million tons.
Meanwhile, the terminal increased imports of manganese ore by 79% to 0.15 million tons.
Average daily handling of railcars at the terminal amounted to 136 open-top railcars, maximum – 299 open-top railcars per day. In the reported period, the terminal handled 26,130 open-top railcars and 44 vessels.
LLC “Multipurpose Reloading Complex” (included in UCL Port-stevedoring division of the International transportation group UCL Holding) is a cargo terminal in the port of Ust-Luga in the Leningrad region, specializing in reception, storage and shipment of export and import general and bulk cargoes.
