Grain market participants are strongly interested in developing grain handling facilities in large ports and building their own logistic chains. From this viewpoint, Ukrainian grain handling segment is considered to be the most investment attractive and promising for investing.
Three new grain-handling terminals were put into operation in Ukrainian seaports last season, which resulted in expansion of calculated grain-handling capacities for exports in ports to more than 50 MMT.
Presently investors have announced 9 projects for construction of specialized grain-handling terminals in Ukrainian seaports. If they implement these projects, by 2020 Ukrainian seaports will be able to handle more than 70 MMT of grain for exports. (UkrAgroConsult/Business World Magazine)
