In several following months, Russia will continue increasing the export shipments of grains, which will reach their peak in August-September period, the Deputy Director of the strategic management department at Rusagrotrans CJSC Igor Pavensky announced on July 26.
Due to the course of harvesting campaign, the export volumes of grains will continue growing, and in September Russia will export nearly 4.2-4.4 million tons of grains, which will exceed the index of the same month last year (4.18 million tons), said the analyst.
At the same time, in July and August the shipment volumes will be somewhat lower compared with last year. Thus in July the index will reach 2 million tons against 2.66 million tons in 2015. In particular, wheat will form nearly 1.4 million tons of the specified volume, and barley – 0.6 million tons. In August, the exports will increase to 3.5-3.8 million tons, as opposed to 4.2 million tons in August 2015. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
