Governments of Uzbekistan and China began negotiations on a new gas deal.
Negotiations are at an early stage, and it’s unclear whether it will be a long-term contract for several years or only for 2017.
The question of the duration of the agreement is closely linked to the formula, based on which the price for gas and the volume of supply will be formed. So there is no clarity on the terms.
