The International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) strengthened its positions on the payment cards market, the number of which reached 1,286,100 on July 1.
For 2015, the IBA significantly improved its service quality and efficiency of its ATM network. As a result, the number of both corporate and individual clients of the bank increased. As a result the number of salary cards, emitted by the bank, increased for the year by 44,600 and reached 456,600 units.
For 2015, the number of overall transactions on the payment cards, emitted by the bank, reached 13,715,261. Currently, 743 ATMs of the bank are installed all over the country. This ATM network is the largest in Azerbaijan. The bank has also installed 11,124 POS-terminals in different trade and service points.
By developing its e-commerce infrastructure and offering its clients wide range of payment cards the IBA tries to promote the expansion of non-cash payments in the country. (Trend/Business World Magazine)
