In January-June the seaport Nika-Tera (Mykolaiv, part of Group DF) shipped 669.5 thousand tons of grain cargoes, which is nearly 46.94% of the general cargo turnover (1.42 million tons), the press-service of the company declared. Also, the terminal shipped 236.7 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers (16.6%).
In June, Nika-Tera transshipped 291.7 thousand tons of cargoes. In particular, the shipment volumes of grains totaled 195.5 thousand tons, and mineral fertilizers – 7.2 thousand tons. In the reporting month Nika-Tera processes 26 dry bulk carriers.
According to the Chairman of Nika-Tera specialized seaport Oleksandr Gaidu, the company has already successfully tested a new system of grain drying and treatment, and put a new air-drying system into operation at one of its covered storehouses. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
