General Electric will transfer a locomotive to Ukraine to demonstrate its capabilities on the Ukrainian railway.
According to the press service of Ukraine’s Ministry of Infrastructure, General Electric and Ukrzaliznytsia signed a relevant agreement on July 14.
The locomotive of American production will arrive in Ukraine in the next two week. It will be on display on the Ukrainian railways for 120 days. Ukrainian experts will involve it in domestic rail transportation.
General Electric is a U.S. diversified corporation, a manufacturer of many types of equipment, including locomotives, power plants (including nuclear reactors), gas turbines, aircraft engines, medical equipment, photo equipment, household appliances and lighting equipment, plastic and sealants.
