Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port (Vladmorrybport) is the first port in Russia to introduce an electronic system to apply for a pass, the company said. The port says over 150 companies, partners and clients of Vladmorrybport from different regions of Russia, use this service already.
The main purpose of the e-system for pass application is to improve the company’s competitiveness in the market of port services. The advantages of the system have already been appreciated by numerous partners and clients of the port. The time needed to approve a single-use pass has been reduced several times. Moreover, clients are timely informed on the application status by e-mail or SMS, which is of special importance today, when every minute counts in the high fishing season. In future, e-applications will be submitted for approval directly to a border service by secured communication links with the use of a digital signature to escape paperwork.
Due to its policy focused on proactive development, Vladmorrybport is becoming more and more attractive for its clients and partners specializing in supply of fish products to the domestic market. In its turn, this contributes to sustainable implementation of the state program of the Russian Federation “Development of Fisheries Industry”.
Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port is a large modern enterprise with annual production capacity of up to 5 million tons of cargo and 200,000 TEUs.
