In January-June the seaport of Azov handled 3,725,000 tons of cargo (up by 8.8% YoY), the port Harbour Master Vladimir Bragin said.
Transshipment of grain climbed by 27.6% to 2.015 million tons. Transshipment of oil products declined by 7.7% to 1.172 million tons, of coal – by 28.4% to 209,000 tons.
In January-March internal turnover of Azov seaport climbed by 17.9% to 2,699,000 tons, exports surged by 40.4% to 2,178,000 tons, imports fell by 13.8% to 116,000 tons, short-sea traffic – by 33% to 405,000 tons, transit – by 9.4% to 1,026,000 tons.
The number of arrivals/departures amounted to 1,447 / 1,453 against 1,390 / 1,407 registered in January-June 2015.
