Ulyanovsk aircraft factory experts mounted interior equipment (full package) on a subsequent SSJ-100 for the “Aeroflot – Russian Airlines” entity and passed the aircraft over to the specialized enterprise JSC “Aero-Spectrum” for painting.
The works on the aircraft were carried out in the framework of an industrial cooperation agreement between JSC “Aviastar-SP” and the company “Sukhoi Civil Aircraft”. According to the arrangement, the Ulyanovsk plant carries out a complex of works on mounting and testing of the passenger cabins interior systems on this type of the aircraft.
“This is the third Superjet this year”, explains the SSJ project manager Viktor Gerasimov. “According the customer requirements the aircraft was equipped with passenger seats, kitchens, toilets, window and ceiling panels, luggage shelves, floor materials and carpeting, door casing, service areas, locker rooms, the required stand-by and lighting facilities. The aircraft will fly to the JSC “Sukhoi Civil aircraft” transfer center in the town of Zhukovsky for the works consummation and transfer to the customer”. (Aviastar/Business World Magazine)
