In January-June Russian seaports handled 344.5 million tons of cargo (up by 6% YoY), said the press center of Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot).
Transshipment of dry bulk cargo totaled 156.8 million tons (+10.7%), liquid bulk cargo – 187.7 million tons (+2.3%).
Operators of the Arctic Basin terminals handled 21.28 million tons (+ 24.9%) including 12.7 million tons of dry cargo (+10.9%) and 8.56 million tons of liquid bulk cargo (+53.8%).
The ports of the Baltic Basin handled 116.4 million tons (+2%) including 43.3 million tons of dry cargo (+1.1%) and 73.1 million tons of liquid bulk cargo (+2.5%).
Throughput of Azov – Black Sea ports climbed to 113 million tons (+5.3%) including 45.5 million tons of dry cargo (+16.9%) and 67.48 million tons of liquid bulk cargo (-1.1%).
The ports of the Caspian Basin handled 2.88 million tons (-19.5%) including 1.43 million tons of dry cargo (-11.8%) and 1.45 million tons of liquid bulk cargo (-25.9%).
The ports of Far East Basin handled 90.88 million tons (+9.5%) including 53.7 million tons of dry cargo (+15%) and 37.1 million tons of liquid bulk cargo (+2.3%). (Portnews/Business World Magazine)
