National energy company Ukrenergo in January through October cut electricity transmission through the country’s backbone and interstate power grids by 9.5%, or by 9.448 billion kWh, to 90.293 billion kWh, the company’s press service has reported.
Over the period under review, the company’s revenue from electricity transmission services grew by 33%, or by 1.368 billion UAH, to 5.511 billion UAH.
According to the report, in January through October the company increased capital investment by 27.7%, or by 769.22 million UAH, to 3.549 billion UAH.
The company’s total expenditure grew by 12%, or by 222.12 million UAH, to 2.072 billion UAH, in particular repair costs rose by 26.7%, or by 34.9 million UAH, to 165.48 million UAH.
Ukrenergo in 2015 reduced transmission of electricity through main networks by 7.5% YoY, or by 9.747 billion kWh, to 120.094 billion kWh. The cost of services for power transmission increased by 73% YoY, or by 2.248 billion UAH, to 5.327 billion UAH. (Interfax/Business World Magazine)
