According to the Minister of National Economy Kuandyk Bishimbayev, Kazakhstan’s economy grew by 0.4% in January-September.
The inflow of foreign investment in Kazakhstan’s economy increased 4.4-fold YoY.
“Net inflow of foreign investment amounted to $5.7 billion in the reporting period, which is a 4.4-fold increase versus the same period of last year, which was $1.3 billion”, he said.
The total amount of investment increased by 4.1% to 5.1 trillion tenge ($15.3 billion) in January-September.
“According to preliminary estimates, the economic growth rates accelerated from 0.3% to 0.4% in January-August”, he said. (TASS/Business World Magazine)
