Forty-five water reservoirs in Kazakhstan are in a dangerous condition and require repairs, Kazakh Agriculture Ministry has said.
In total there are 309 water reservoirs in Kazakhstan. The state owns 83 of them. Regional municipalities own 191 reservoirs and 35 reservoirs are privately owned.
The biggest reservoirs in Kazakhstan are Bukhtarma reservoir in the east of the country, Kapshagai reservoir in southeast of the country and Shardar reservoir in southern Kazakhstan. (Trend/Business World Magazine)
