Ukrainian women are invited to participate in the Empowering Women in Agrifood GROW (EWA GROW) mentoring support program.
The program aims to develop innovative female entrepreneurship in the agrifood sector. The initiative supports the creation and scaling of business solutions that meet the current challenges of the industry – from sustainable agriculture and biotechnology to reducing food waste, developing alternative proteins and implementing digital technologies, including IT and artificial intelligence.
Women aged 18 and over, who are residents of Ukraine and have a business idea in agrifood or are developing their own business, registered in Ukraine and founded no more than three years ago, are invited to participate. A mandatory condition is the absence of attracted financing or grants for the relevant idea in the amount of more than EUR 60,000.
The program will select 10 participants who will receive individual mentoring support for six months, participate in online training and offline events in Kyiv, work on developing entrepreneurial skills, business strategy, marketing and financial planning. Participants will also have access to the European EIT Food community.
The program is implemented in a hybrid format. Personal expenses related to travel and accommodation are compensated. Based on the results of the final selection, the best projects will receive grants of EUR 10,000 and EUR 5,000 to develop their own business. (Economy Ministry)
