Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko in his Telegram channel published information on the consequences of the russian shelling as of 15:00 on July 8.
According to the Interior Minister, russia has damaged more than 50 civilian facilities, including residential buildings, a business centre and two medical institutions.
Twenty-eight people were killed: 11 in Dnipropetrovsk region and 17 in Kyiv.
112 people were injured: 62 in Dnipropetrovsk region, 48 in Kyiv and 2 in Kyiv region.
“Emergency and rescue operations are ongoing at the sites of the biggest impacts. Rescuers, police and utility companies are involved. I would like to express my gratitude to all the people who came to the rescue. Unity makes us stronger,” said Ihor Klymenko. (Government portal)
