In February, public procurement entities concluded 28,000 contracts for UAH 42.8 billion based on the results of competitive bidding in Prozorro. Last month’s bidding resulted in a total savings of UAH 3 billion.
“We have to ensure that even in a full-scale war, all public procurement is carried out as quickly and transparently as possible. After all, the public procurement system should become the basis for Ukraine’s post-war recovery. Meanwhile, it is crucial that as many domestic goods and services as possible are procured through Prozorro. This way, we will maximize our impact on the economy and ensure its rapid recovery. In the near future, we will expand localization to new categories of goods,” said Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Nadiia Bihun.
Last month, 33,500 procurement procedures worth UAH 74.3 billion were announced in Prozorro. The largest expenditures were planned for food products (UAH 14 billion), road construction and repair (UAH 5.7 billion), electricity procurement (UAH 5.5 billion), construction and repair of buildings (UAH 4.8 billion) and the purchase of medicines (UAH 3.7 billion).
In addition, 295 UAV procurements worth UAH 771 million and 4 tenders for the construction of fortifications worth UAH 127 million were announced through Prozorro. (Government portal/Business World Magazine)
