PJSC Ukrtransgaz has appealed to court to recover 434 million UAH from Odessa port-side chemical plant in payment for gas consumed in June, Ukrtransgaz Head Ihor Prokopiv has said.
“In June the plant consumed 53 million cubic meters of gas, not buying it from anyone. On July 15, we closed the balance sheet, getting a “gap” on Odessa port-side plant. We bought gas with the coefficient of 1.2 and made a bill of 434 million UAH for the plant”, he said.
Prokopiv added the plant’s application for July was 100 million cubic meters. However, it was not possible to determine the source of gas supplies.
“We warned them five days before disconnection as required by law. Today the term expires. Ukrtransgaz has limited pressure from 9 atmospheres to 7.2 atmospheres, the process is continuing”, the Ukrtransgaz head said.
Now Odessa port-side plant consumes 80,000 cubic meters of gas per day. (Interfax/Business World Magazine)
