Public joint-stock company Ukrnafta, Ukraine’s largest oil producer, saw 10.09 million UAH of net loss in January-June compared to 3.91 billion UAH of net profit a year ago.
The company said in a report that its net revenue in H1 2016 decreased by 42.8% YoY, or by 6.648 billion UAH, to 8.89 billion UAH, and gross profit – by 37.35 or 2.84 billion UAH, to 4.77 billion UAH.
Operating loss totaled 612.53 million UAH compared with 4.55 UAH billion of operating profit in H1 2015.
In January-June Ukrnafta sold 706,254 tons of oil worth 4.76 billion UAH, 538,500 tons of ammonia worth 1.44 billion UAH and fuel worth 2.22 billion UAH.
The share of oil was 54% of total sales (50.6% in H1 2015), the share of fuel was 25% (22.8%) and ammonia’s share was 16% (13.5%).
The company said that as of June 30, its unpaid tax liabilities amounted to 11.12 billion UAH.
