According to the results of January-July there is $705.7 of state debt of Kyrgyzstan per capita. The debt burden increased by $0.7 MoM.
According to the Ministry of Finance, as of July 31, the debt amounted to $4,415.26 billion or 300,502.46 billion soms. About $3,808.03 billion (259,074.27 billion soms) of the sum is the external and $607.23 million (41,328.19 billion soms) is internal debt.
The state debt of the republic increased by $4.23 million. Kyrgyzstan owes the largest sum to the Export-Import Bank of China – $1,700.51 billion. In July the sum reduced by $3.18 million.
The external debt makes up 86.2% of the total debt of the country.
According to the National Statistical Committee, as of January 1, about 6,256,700 people lived in Kyrgyzstan. At the same time, an average salary in the country is 15,665 soms. To pay off the state debt of the country, each Kyrgyzstani should give 3.06 average salaries. (24.kg/Business World Magazine)
