The state-run enterprise Ukrkhimtransammiak saw an 80% fall in net profit in January-September 2017, to UAH 108.771 million, the Economic Development and Trade Ministry has reported on its website.
Net sales revenue decreased by 49.7%, to UAH 854.895 million, while gross profit fell by 75.6%, to UAH 188.824 million.
As reported, in 2016 Ukrkhimtransammiak saw a 14.6% rise in revenue, to UAH 2.008 billion, seeing a 3.2-fold rise in net profit, to UAH 650.17 million.
In Q1 2017 the company’s revenue plunged by 68.8%, to UAH 169.1 million due to a temporary break in transportation of Russian ammonia, while net profit decreased by 80.4%, to UAH 31.4 million.
Ukrkhimtransammiak manages the Ukrainian part of the Togliatti-Horlivka-Odessa ammonia pipeline. The total length of the ammonia pipeline is 2,418 km, on the territory of Ukraine – 1,018 km. (Interfax-Ukraine/Business World Magazine)
