In January-June sea transport hub of Taganrog handled 941,500 tons of cargo (down by 26.5% YoY), the port’s Harbour Master Service said.
Transshipment of oil products fell by 48.2% to 242,300 tons, coal transshipment – down by 2.3% to 287,300 tons, ferrous metals – down 9.1 times to 25,600 tons. Transshipment of grain surged by 51.4% to 335,100 tons.
Exports fell by 20% to 657,200 tons, imports – 2.9 times to 10,500 tons, coastal trade cargo – 36.3% to 273,800 tons.
In January-June the port authorities registered 285 arrivals and 268 departures against 404 arrivals and 408 departures in January-June 2015. (Portnews/Business World Magazine)
