The Economic Development and Trade Ministry expects that Ukraine’s GDP would grow by 1.8% at the end of 2017, First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv has said.
“By the end of 2017 we expect growth of 1.8%,” he said at a conference organized by Fitch Ratings in Kyiv on November 30.
According to the presentation of the minister, the ministry expects that GDP growth would accelerate to 3% in 2018, 3.6% in 2019 and 4% in 2020.
According to the ministry’s assessments, inflation by the end of this year would be 11.2%. In 2018, it is projected that inflation would slow to 7%, in 2019 to 5.9% and in 2010 to 5%. (Interfax-Ukraine/Business World Magazine)
