Ukraine’s large and medium-sized plants produced 10.1 KMT of mayonnaise in September, up by 2% MoM (9.9 KMT) and by 4.1% YoY. The reason was the seasonal factor.
Overall, this year’s mayonnaise production volumes have been varying around the 2016 level. Thus, the Ukrainian fat-and-oil industry made 88.2 KMT of this product in January-September, or just 0.9% less than a year ago (89 KMT).
This year’s trends and expectations of output growth towards the end of the calendar period suggest that mayonnaise production may amount to 123-125 KMT in 2017. (UkrAgroConsult/Business World Magazine)
