Last week, under the state program “Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%”, entrepreneurs received 291 preferential loans from authorized banks for a total amount of UAH 0.7 billion, including 182 loans totaling UAH 0.3 billion from banks in the public sector.
Since the beginning of 2025, entrepreneurs have received 15,891 loans worth UAH 49.1 billion under the 5-7-9 program, including 10,723 loans totaling UAH 22.3 billion from state-owned banks.
During the period of martial law in Ukraine, 85,526 loans were issued for UAH 325.5 billion (including 62,585 loans for UAH 164.1 billion from state-owned banks), of which as of July 28:
– UAH 45.76 billion – for investment purposes;
– UAH 75.79 billion – for working capital financing;
– UAH 48.75 billion – loans for agricultural producers;
– UAH 45.20 billion – for agricultural product processing;
– UAH 2.78 billion – for energy service financing;
– UAH 57.28 billion – for anti-war purposes;
– UAH 38.35 billion – for lending in areas of high military risk.
Since the programme’s inception, 120,348 loan agreements worth UAH 415.1 billion have been signed, including 83,061 agreements worth UAH 190.7 billion from state-owned banks.
The programme is implemented by the Business Development Fund (BDF), with the Ukrainian Government, represented by the Ministry of Finance, as its sole stakeholder, coordinating all key aspects of the Fund’s activities.
Under the Government’s Affordable Loans at 5-7-9% programme, the BDF has signed cooperation agreements with 46 banks. The state continues to make all necessary compensation payments to support businesses under the loan agreements within the programme. (Government portal)
