Over the past week, under the Government’s Affordable Loans at 5-7-9% programme, entrepreneurs received 348 preferential loans totalling UAH 0.8 billion from authorised banks, including 251 loans worth UAH 0.5 billion from state-owned banks.
Since the start of 2025, entrepreneurs have received 15,600 loans worth UAH 48.3 billion under the 5-7-9% programme, of which 10,541 loans worth UAH 22 billion were provided by state-owned banks.
During martial law in Ukraine, 85,235 loans worth UAH 324.8 billion have been issued (including 62,403 loans worth UAH 163.7 billion from state-owned banks). As of July 21, these include:
– UAH 45.53 billion for investment purposes;
– UAH 75.62 billion for working capital financing;
– UAH 48.72 billion for agricultural producers;
– UAH 44.97 billion for agricultural product processing;
– UAH 2.77 billion for energy service financing;
– UAH 57.28 billion for anti-war purposes;
– UAH 38.14 billion for lending in high-risk war zones.
Since the programme’s inception, 120,057 loan agreements worth UAH 414.4 billion have been signed, including 82,879 agreements worth UAH 190.4 billion from state-owned banks.
The programme is implemented by the Business Development Fund (BDF), with the Ukrainian Government, represented by the Ministry of Finance, as its sole stakeholder, coordinating all key aspects of the Fund’s activities.
Under the Government’s Affordable Loans at 5-7-9% programme, the BDF has signed cooperation agreements with 46 banks. The state continues to make all necessary compensation payments to support businesses under the loan agreements within the programme. (Government portal)
