Since the beginning of 2024, Ukrainians have received 6,649 loans for the purchase of housing worth over UAH 11.3 billion under the eOselia affordable loans programme. In particular, 4,783 Ukrainians received loans for the purchase of housing on the secondary market, 1,412 for the first sale and 454 loans were issued for the purchase of housing in newly constructed facilities. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Andriy Teliupa.
“In total, almost 13,000 Ukrainian families have already received loans worth over UAH 20.8 billion for the purchase of housing since the implementation of the eOselia affordable loans programme. The eOselia programme is a part of the “Made in Ukraine” policy aimed at developing Ukrainian producers. Therefore, in addition to the fact that Ukrainians can buy housing on favourable terms, the domestic construction industry has received an additional incentive to develop thanks to this programme,” said Andriy Teliupa.
Under the terms of the programme, contract servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine can take out housing loans at a preferential interest rate of 3% per annum while security forces, teachers, doctors, scientists and other categories of citizens can take out loans at 7% per annum.
Over the course of the programme, the following people have received loans at 3%: 7,347 military and security personnel, 1,120 teachers, 1,067 doctors and 271 scientists.
Loans at 7% were received by 2,652 Ukrainians from other categories, 274 IDPS and 243 veterans.
In particular, over the past week, Ukrainians received 156 loans worth UAH 285 million for the purchase of housing in Kyiv region – 46 loans, Kyiv city – 41 loans, Lviv region – 10 loans and Ivano-Frankivsk region – 9 loans. (Government portal)
