In the first week of 2024, 465 entrepreneurs received loans under the Affordable Loans programme totalling UAH 2.2 billion. Since the launch of the programme in February 2020, 79,000 loans worth UAH 269 billion have been issued.
In 2023, entrepreneurs took out the most loans to replenish working capital (UAH 47 billion) and anti-war loans (UAH 16 billion). In addition, UAH 13 billion in loans were taken out by farmers to support the sowing campaign, UAH 12 billion by businesses to implement investment projects and UAH 8 billion by processing companies.
The most frequent recipients of loans under the programme are companies operating in the following sectors: agriculture (49%), wholesale and retail trade (26%) and processing industry (16%).
Among the regions, Lviv, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Vinnytsia regions and the city of Kyiv are the leaders in terms of the amount of loan agreements concluded.
As of today, 45 banks participate in the programme, with Privatbank (35,800), Oschadbank (11,800) and Raiffeisen Bank Aval (5,400) issuing the largest number of loans. (Government portal/Business World Magazine)
