The Wroclaw Airport, located in southwestern Poland, serviced close to 3.9 million passengers last year setting a new passenger service record, the airport’s president announced.
Cezary Pacamaj said that exactly 3,891,553 passengers were serviced by the airport in 2023.
“We have improved our previous record by nearly 350,000 and, in 2024, we want to break the mark of 4 million passengers served,” he added.
“In addition to expanding the connection network, we’ll begin investing in the airport’s infrastructure, which will allow us to achieve even better results in the coming years,” he continued.
Work on the expansion of the Wroclaw Airport is scheduled to begin this year.
The cost of the new investments totals PLN 350 million (EUR 80 million), with half of the amount to be covered by EU funds. (PAP/Business World Magazine)
