Lithuania and Latvia have overtaken Belgium and the Czech Republic in the list of the largest beer exporters to Russia.
Germany was the biggest beer exporter to Russia in both 2022 and 2023, accounting for more than two-thirds of all beer exports to the country.
Germany was followed by Lithuania, which accounted for just over 15% ($36.5 million) of total beer exports to Russia in 2023. Compared to 2022, Lithuania has increased its beer exports to Russia 1.9-fold.
Latvia was in the third place, exporting $34.4 million worth of beer to Russia in 2023. Belgium came in fourth with $26.6 million worth of exports, the Czech Republic fifth with $26.4 million and Poland sixth with $5.4 million. (LRT/Business World Magazine)
