Since year-start, 5,960 businesses have been registered in Chernihiv region, of which 388 are entities and 5,572 are individual entrepreneurs, which is the highest figure in the last three years, Svitlana Poltoratska, Deputy Director of Economic Development at the Chernihiv Regional State Administration, has revealed.
“This phenomenon can be explained by the simplification of taxation and the procedure for registering and shutting down individual entrepreneurships, and most importantly, by the wide opportunities for receiving grants under government-run and international aid programs,” said Svitlana Poltoratska.
According to the official, thanks to government grant programs within the framework of the eRobota project, businesses across the region received financial assistance in the amount of almost UAH 216 million. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
