A meeting of the Ukrainian part of the Mixed Ukrainian-Moldovan Intergovernmental Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation has been held, chaired by Iryna Vereshchuk, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian side gathered to discuss the main promising areas of cooperation in the context of preparations for the meeting of the Commission co-chairs, which was due to take place in the near future. In particular, in the areas of trade, energy, transport, transit of goods, joint infrastructure projects, border cooperation, regional security, agriculture, etc.
Iryna Vereshchuk thanked the participants and expressed her hope that the meeting of the Commission co-chairs would become one of the key platforms for intensifying the partnership between Ukraine and Moldova.
“Today, my colleagues and I have developed concrete plans to make the meeting thorough and to achieve positive results. Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova have many promising areas for deepening cooperation,” the Deputy Prime Minister concluded. (Government portal/Business World Magazine)
