Ukrainian Energy Minister German Galushchenko and U.S. Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm have discussed Ukraine’s preparations for the new heating season.
According to the statement, the two countries’ energy ministers met as part of the first ministerial meeting of the Net Zero World Initiative in Seattle.
Both parties discussed the priorities of attracting international assistance to restore Ukraine’s energy system and pass the next heating season amid Russian aggression.
Galushchenko noted that preparing for the next heating season, Ukrainian energy companies were making maximum efforts to implement new approaches and solutions to ensure the safety and flexibility of the energy system.
He emphasized the special value of a gas turbine that was provided by the United States and informed his U.S. counterpart about the need for additional supplies of the corresponding equipment. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
