Ukraine’s international reserves, according to preliminary data, reached $37.3 billion as of June 1.
This is said in a report published on the website of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).
“Ukraine had $37,311.3 million in international reserves as of June 1, according to preliminary data. In May, international reserves increased by 4% and rose to a new 11-year high. This is the second highest level to August 2011,” the report says.
Ukraine’s international reserves increased due to sustainable and regular inflows from international partners, which exceeded the currency net sale by the National Bank and the country’s debt repayments in foreign currency. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
