The Moldovan parliamentary delegation participated in a meeting in London with members of the International Relations and Defense Committee. The MPs answered the questions of the British parliamentarians and reiterated that a democratic and prosperous Moldova was extremely important for the security of the entire European continent. The Moldovan MPs met both with members of the ruling party and with members from the opposition party.
The Moldovan delegation also had a meeting with Gemma Stevenson, Deputy Director of the Department for International Trade of Great Britain. The officials discussed the next steps the authorities would take to develop trade between the two states.
