Poland’s core inflation, which excluded the prices of food and energy, measured 12.3% YoY in March, up from 12% in February, the National Bank of Poland (NBP) said on April 17.
Inflation excluding fixed prices amounted to 15.7% YoY in March, down from 18.1% in the previous month.
Inflation excluding the most volatile items measured 16% YoY in March, up from 15.5% in January.
The 15% trimmed mean inflation reached 15.5% in March, down from 17% in the previous month.
According to the Central Statistical Office (GUS), prices of consumer goods and services (Consumer Price Index, CPI) increased by 16.1% YoY and by 1.1% MoM in March. (PAP/Business World Magazine)
