Poland’s unemployment rate remained unchanged month on month in February at 5.5%, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) reported on March 23.
Economists polled by PAP expected a 5.5% unemployment figure in the second month of 2023.
The number of registered unemployed measured 864,800 in February against 857,600 in January, GUS also said.
Earlier, the Family and Social Policy Ministry estimated February’s unemployment at 5.5% as well. (PAP/Business World Magazine)
