Ukraine and Egypt are considering the possibility of implementing joint agricultural projects. This was stated by Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solskyi following a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Ukraine Ayman Ahmed Mokhtar Elgammal.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of the Grain from Ukraine humanitarian initiative and Ukraine’s role in ensuring global food security.
Special attention was paid to a detailed discussion of the possibility of expanding trade relations between Ukraine and Egypt and deepening cooperation in the agricultural sector. Ayman Ahmed Mokhtar Elgammal expressed Egypt’s interest in implementing joint logistics agricultural projects. In particular, creating a logistics hub for grain supplies.
Mykola Solskyi noted that Ukraine would look into Egypt’s proposal. (Government portal/Business World Magazine)
