The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has lowered Poland’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth forecasts for this year and next.
According to the IMF’s World Economic Outlook report published on January 30, Poland’s GDP is currently expected to grow by 0.3% in 2023, down from 0.5% predicted in the previous report issued in October 2022.
In 2024, the Polish economy is expected to expand by 2.4%, down from October 2022 forecast of 3.1%.
Poland’s GDP increased by 4.9% YoY in 2022, the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) reported. (PAP/Business World Magazine)
