As part of the mandatory evacuation process, Ukrainians obtain cash support from the Government, Iryna Vereshchuk, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, has said.
“People who leave Donetsk region as part of the mandatory evacuation receive cash support from the Government in the amount of UAH 2,200 per person, regardless of age and number of family members. This money is provided immediately upon arrival. The Government also guarantees the payment of housing assistance to IDPs: UAH 2,000 per month for adults and UAH 3,000 for children or persons with disabilities. International humanitarian organizations are also involved in the implementation of charitable assistance programs,” the official said.
She reminded that shelter for evacuees from Donetsk region was provided by the hub regions, which were welcoming the displaced people for shelter for several months.
In particular, Kirovohrad region: it has already admitted more than 30,000 IDPs. Poltava region is next. In this region, compact living spaces for displaced people have also been deployed. (Government portal/Business World Magazine)
