A column consisting of 25 trucks of Energoatom National Nuclear Energy Generating Company of Ukraine has reached the temporarily occupied city of Enerhodar and delivered the most necessary spare parts, chemical agents and diesel fuel to Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (NPP).
The relevant statement was made by Energoatom National Nuclear Energy Generating Company of Ukraine on Telegram.
“On September 16, a column consisting of 25 trucks of Energoatom National Nuclear Energy Generating Company of Ukraine, having passed enemy checkpoints, reached Enerhodar. The company delivered the most necessary spare parts required to repair the power transmission lines damaged and power units of Zaporizhzhia NPP, which continues to be terrorized by Russian occupiers,” the report states.
According to Energoatom, the emergency supply of chemical agents required for Zaporizhzhia NPP to operate was restored. Most importantly, additional fuel was delivered to ensure that diesel generators operate in case of blackouts.
Despite the danger and difficulties, the goods were delivered by Energoatom’s drivers, namely those from Khmelnytskyi NPP and Rivne NPP. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
