Georgian external trade turnover amounted to $2.5 billion in January-February, up by 49.2% YoY, latest data from the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat) showed.
The value of exports in Georgia grew by 54.5% and totaled $760.4 million in the reporting period, while imports increased by 47%, reaching $1.7 billion.
Trade deficit totaled $1 billion, and the share in trade turnover added up to 40.1%. (Agenda/Business World Magazine)
