The Uzbek Republican Commodity Exchange (UZEX) saw $5.75 billion worth of deals during the first nine months of 2021, up by 61.5% YoY.
The engagement level of small businesses and private entrepreneurs has increased by 56.8% and reached $2.1 billion. Entrepreneurs purchased commodity resources worth $1.36 billion through the exchange and sold their own products in the amount of $758.2 million.
The total amount of goods sold through the exchange for export amounted to $64.5 million.
Goods worth a total of $4.97 billion were sold at exchange auctions, up by 59.9%.
The total volume of transactions on electronic public procurement expanded almost 2.4-fold and amounted to $627.2 million. (Uzreport/Business World Magazine)
