JSC Ukrzaliznytsia transferred UAH 750 million of dividends for 2019 to the state budget, according to the company’s press service.
“Ukrzaliznytsia always fulfills its obligations to the shareholder – the state. In 2020, the government’s decision postponed the company’s payment of dividends for 2019. Due to the implementation of the anti-crisis plan, we have now managed to stabilize the company and gradually move to profitable results. Dividends were paid in full and within the timeframe stipulated by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers,” Acting Chairman of the Board of Ukrzaliznytsia Ivan Yuryk said.
Thus, based on the results of work in 2019, UAH 750 million was transferred to the state budget, or 30% of net profit. In addition, 70% of net profit (over UAH 1.7 billion) was directed to cover losses of previous years. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
