As part of the XIII International Forum “Polish-Ukrainian Business Days”, two memoranda of cooperation were signed in Warsaw on May 20.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Exporters and Investors Council under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Business Association in Poland. It was signed by Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland Andriy Deshchytsia and Association President Yaroslav Romanchuk.
The Memorandum of Cooperation was also signed between the Investment Promotion Office (UkraineInvest) and the Ukrainian Business Association in Poland. The memorandum was signed by UkraineInvest Executive Director Serhiy Tsivkach and Association President Yaroslav Romanchuk.
Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov participated in the International Forum “Polish-Ukrainian Business Days” online, as well as Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Vasyl Bodnar.
As reported, Poland is the world’s second largest (after China) trading partner and export market of Ukraine.
According to Head of the Economic Department of the Embassy of Ukraine in Poland Ihor Baranetsky, the total trade between Ukraine and Poland last year amounted to $7.36 billion. According to him, Ukraine’s ambitious goal is to achieve $10 billion in bilateral trade with Poland. He is convinced that this can be done in two or three years. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
