Ukraine’s gross domestic product (GDP) decreased by 0.7% in the fourth quarter of 2020 compared to the fourth quarter of 2019, the State Statistics Service reported.
The country’s GDP increased by 0.8% in the fourth quarter of 2020 compared to the previous quarter (taking into account the seasonal factor), but decreased by 0.7% compared to the fourth quarter of 2019.
According to the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine, the fall in GDP in 2020 was 4.2%. GDP declined by 1.3% YoY in the first quarter of 2020, by 11.4% in the second quarter and by 3.5% in the third quarter. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
