In 2020, budget revenues of Kyiv city have decreased by UAH 5 billion, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
“The budget of our city was growing from 2015 to 2019. This year, we have lost about UAH 5 billion, and the budget, as we see, has decreased. UAH 3 billion is the amount of income that we did not receive from personal income tax,” Klitschko said when presenting a report on the work for 2020.
According to him, in 2020, most of the funds were spent on education, healthcare services, social protection, culture and sports.
The mayor said that the biggest amount of money had been allocated to the education (UAH 21.8 billion) and healthcare sectors (UAH 8 billion). The social protection sector received UAH 4.7 billion. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
