The total amount of deposits of individuals in banks-participants of the Deposit Guarantee Fund of Ukraine amounted to UAH 575.66 billion as of November 1, according to the Fund’s press service.
“As of November 1, the total amount of deposits of individuals (including private entrepreneurs) in banks-members of the Deposit Guarantee Fund amounted to UAH 575.06 billion, up by UAH 7.67 billion MoM (UAH 567.39 billion),” reads the report.
Out of the total deposits of individuals, hryvnia deposits totaled UAH 330.73 billion (+UAH 5.14 billion) and deposits in foreign currency amounted to UAH 244.33 billion (+UAH 2.53 billion).
Some 98.1% of the depositors have fully protected deposits (do not exceed UAH 200,000), which are subject to guarantees of the Fund. The total amount of these deposits is UAH 224.80 billion. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
