Ukraine increased the export of poultry meat and by-products by 7.7% YoY, to 359,540 tons in January-October, the State Customs Service reported.
According to its data, the export of these products decreased in monetary terms by 2.3%, to $468.53 million.
At the same time, the import of poultry meat and by-products decreased by 16.3%, to 90,920 tons in 10 months, and in monetary terms by 12.3%, to $37.96 million.
According to the State Customs Service, pork export increased by 29.1%, to 2,310 tons. These products were exported for $5.09 million, up by 28.7%.
Pork import to Ukraine increased by 16.5%, to 23,820 tons, and in monetary terms by 21.2%, to $47.26 million.
In addition, during the specified period, Ukraine reduced the export of eggs by 18.2%, to 96,130 tons, and in monetary terms by 8.4%, to $85.93 million.
Import of eggs fell by 44.5%, to 2,490 tons in January-October 2020, and in monetary terms by 50%, to $8.84 million. (Open4Business/Business World Magazine)
