In September, the average nominal salary in Ukraine amounted to UAH 11,998, up by 12.3% YoY, according to the State Statistics Service.
The average nominal salary of Ukrainians in September was 2.4 times higher than the minimum wage (UAH 5,000). Compared with August, the average nominal wage rose by 4.8%.
The highest average nominal salaries in September were recorded in the information and telecommunications sector UAH 20,089 (+17.7%), in the financial and insurance sector – UAH 19,332 (+7.8%), in the sector of professional, scientific and technical activities – UAH 17,092 (+16.1%).
The lowest average nominal salaries in September were recorded in the temporary accommodation and catering sector – UAH 6,557 (-3.3%), in the healthcare and social assistance sector – UAH 8,931 (+29.1%) and services connected with immovable property – UAH 9,330 (+8.6%).
